This Glow All Day Skincare Trio Is All You Need

Summertime fine is all in the glow! Hello! I’m so happy to have found the perfect glow all day skincare trio you need to try.

Something about a radiant looking face makes me shine with confidence from within.

I live in tropical weather year round in Miami so having a suitable skincare routine that adapts to the bright sunny days and warm weather is perfect!

When I was gifted the iossance sunshine set, my heart was screaming with joy knowing how perfectly it fits my lifestyle and melanin skincare needs.

If you don’t know, this skincare set is created in collaboration with actress Reese Witherspoon so I thought that was pretty cool.

First of all, I am loving the soft feminine pink packaging and non toxic ingredients. Everything is paraben free and vegan.

Yay, perfect for the clean girls.

The set includes the must have daytime trio I believe every girl shouldn’t leave the house without applying and I’m going to explain why.

It includes a sheer mineral sunscreen (say no to the white cast please), vitamin c rose oil, and a rose vegan lip balm.

Personally, I have always included these in my daily skincare regimen.

So it’s perfect to see an actual kit that exists to eliminate the need for scouting out and assembling different brands to get the job done.

The mini sized containers makes them perfect to take on vacation so you’re not stuck using generic hotel products. A WIN!

How To Use

So I know you’re ready to know what do I think of the Biossance sunshine set since I’ve been using it all summer?

Ok, so I typically use my kit in the morning which is the perfect time to apply products with spf.

I start with freshly cleansed face, then apply 3 drops of the vitamin c rose oil, followed by a dime size of the sunscreen then finish off with a swipe of the lip balm for juicy plumpness all day.

Vitamin c oil

Let’s explore the vitamin c rose oil first. This oil is made of squalane naturally derived from sugarcane which mimics our skin’s natural sebum.

It doesn’t have a fragrance which is a plus for my sensitive skin. So when I first applied it, it goes on a little greasy (hey it’s an oil) but absorbs into the skin EXTREMELY fast.

Basically, it won’t leave your skin looking oiled up. I was scared on my first application thinking I was going to look like a piece of fried meat while out that day but after 5 minutes, it was as if I didn’t apply an oil at all.

I must say, Biossance really mastered this oil formulation, it’s like MAGIC.

Sheer Mineral Sunscreen

After applying the oil, I layered the squalane and zinc sheer mineral sunscreen. So this sunscreen is at the spf range of 30, which is my typical aim.

Another key ingredient is the water lily which cools and calms the skin after UV exposure.

I’m a black girl, so finding a sunscreen without an ugly white cast is a must at all cost. I need to glow not fade!

This sunscreen does just that. It goes on very easily and and glides over my skin effortlessly. It feels like a regular moisturizer and my face looks and feels so hydrated.

So it’s definitely a one step product delivering both hydration and protection. The best of both worlds.

It feels lightweight yet moisturizing. Again, I didn’t experience any greasiness after going out all day.

I don’t know how Biossance does it but the formulation is amazing.

A lot of times, I find myself sacrificing looking greasy for moisturized skin with other brands. Not with this one!

Vegan Lip Balm

Time for the final step since we cannot leave out the lips of course. I don’t know about you but my face has to match the lips.

Honestly, I didn’t even know lip spf was thing but it makes sense, we need to protect our entire beauty.

The rose vegan lip balm also contains squalane, ceramides and wakame algae for increased plumpness.

Upon application, it has a nice rich feel to it and the scent and feel resembles plain vaseline.

Uh, I hoping for a nice summery themed scent but I’m guessing they wanted to keep it neutral with this entire set which is good if you have sensitive skin.

The feel is more like any lip balm, non sticky and it isn’t overly glossy.

So overall this Biossance sunshine set is giving clean girl aesthetic with hoops when you can’t be bothered with makeup for the day.

I’m enjoying it and it has been a great addition to my skincare family to meet my glow all day skincare needs.

My overall rating for this kit is definitely 5/5 stars.
